History
MCEnhancement was established by Mark Cox in August 2007 offering training and consultancy services. In June 2011 we began to deliver training programmes, qualifications, outdoor adventure activities and mentoring support to young people facing greater challenges in life.
Present Day
MCEnhancement is providing a range of programmes for organisations to inspire, train and support people for
- Equals IW
- Isle of Wight Council Adult and Community Learning
- Gift to Nature
- Isle of Wight Council Mental Health Alliance - Public Health.
We aim to enhance motivation, self-esteem, self-confidence, physical fitness and stamina with the objective of acquiring positive emotional and mental well-being.
People learn a range of skills on our programmes
- communication and listening
- decision making
- problem solving
- team building
- leadership
At a underlying level we provide a pathway away from unwanted behaviours and attitudes. We increase aspirations from zero to the achievement of goals, giving encouragement, self-believe and confidence. Especially for the young to develop positively as adults, to feel part of society and able to contribute to the local community.
